The proposed law on “Promotion and Protection of Human Rights Defenders” has been contextualized since 2015 by all stakeholders. It is in 2022 that this bill will be supported by the forum of women parliamentarians with a view to its adoption. On April 9, 2024, this bill saw significant progress with in particular the opinion of the Government on its proposal to the highest attention of the very honorable President of the National Assembly with a view to its adoption by the deputies and its promulgation by the President of the Republic.
